These Terms include our Privacy Policy, Consent to Background Check, Equal Employment Opportunity Statement, and MVR Consent. 1. Submission of Applications

By submitting your application via our website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Providing false or incomplete information may result in the rejection of your application or termination of any employment offer. By submitting your application, you also consent to the processing of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy, and agree to our Consent to Background Check, including the review of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) through Starpoint Screening.

By submitting your application, you explicitly authorize UMC Express LLC to verify all information provided, including contacting references and previous employers to confirm your work history, and to conduct all necessary background checks as outlined in this document.

UMC Express LLC is not liable for any inaccuracies in third-party background check reports.

Disclaimer: UMC Express LLC relies on third-party providers, such as Starpoint Screening, to conduct certain background checks, including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verifications. While we take steps to ensure the accuracy of the information provided by these third parties, UMC Express LLC is not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the reports generated by these providers. Candidates are encouraged to review their reports and notify UMC Express LLC or the third-party provider of any discrepancies.

2. Uploading Documents

​

If you choose to upload a copy of your driver's license as part of the application process, you consent to UMC Express LLC storing and using this information for the purpose of conducting a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. You also acknowledge and agree that this information may be shared with our third-party provider, Starpoint Screening, for the sole purpose of completing the MVR check. UMC Express LLC will store your driver's license securely and delete it after the verification process is completed unless retention is required by law or regulatory obligations.

3. Processing Time

​

Upon receipt of your application, UMC Express LLC will review your submission and provide an initial response within three (3) business days. While we aim to complete the review process within one (1) week, this may vary depending on the volume of applications or other business needs.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

​

• For candidates who are not hired: Your driver's license will be deleted immediately after a decision is made regarding your application. Other personal information collected as part of the application will be retained for two weeks and then deleted unless required by law to retain it for a longer period.

• For candidates who are hired: If you are hired, your driver's license will be securely stored for the duration of your employment. After your employment ends, your driver's license will be stored for an additional one (1) year and then permanently deleted from our systems, unless required by law.

6. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check

As part of the application process, UMC Express LLC requires applicants to consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to any offer of employment. By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree to the MVRConsent, which allows us to conduct this review through our third-party provider, Starpoint Screening. If you do not consent to this check, your application will not be processed.

Third-Party Provider Disclaimer: UMC Express LLC uses Starpoint Screening and other third-party providers to perform MVR checks. While we trust these providers to deliver accurate information, UMC Express LLC does not assume responsibility for any errors, delays, or inaccuracies in the information provided by third parties. If you have concerns or disputes regarding your MVR report, please contact Starpoint Screening directly.

7. Confidentiality of Applicant Information

UMC Express LLC respects your privacy and ensures that all personal data collected through the application process is kept confidential. Your information will only be used internally for evaluating your suitability for employment, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal information with third parties, except for verifying your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). UMC Express LLC implements strict internal policies and technical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all applicant data.

8. Modifications to Terms of Service

UMC Express LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the terms will be posted on this page, and the effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.

We will notify you of any material changes via email, Telegram, or on our website. For minor updates, we may only update the Terms on our website without prior notice. Continued use of the website after any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
